A relatively new sport called Geocaching awaits the entire family and all you need is a GPS and a few inexpensive trinkets to trade. This is the sport where you are the search engine. In geocaching you search for a geocache with a map and your GPS.

Utah Association of Geocachers-- UTAG has resources and sponsors events for the Utah Geocaching crowd.

Utilizing the GPS units and team skills, each team collaborates to find caches, which often take the form of hidden boxes or team challenges.
